I admit , im a sucker when it comes to video cards. I usually like to get the cheapest there is if I can get at least some acceptable performance on it. But I ordered this card today. Broke the "im too cheap to buy this" cycle. I would like to hear from whomever owns this card and hear what they have to say about it. Well okay almost broke the im too cheap for this cycle. After all I purchased A Dell Dimension B110 PC

Hello there. I just got the Vision Tek XGE "Xtreme Gamer Edition" X1300 ATI Radeon Card with 512 DDR 2 memory. I had the Nvidia 7600 GS OC in before but that one malfunctioned. So I decided to get a ATI since I have an ATI Crossfire Chip set. I must say that this card is AWESOME!! I have Half Life2, NFS Carbon, Fear, Black and White 2, Quake 4 and Never Winter Nights 2 installed. All of them run seamlessly. With the Gforce there was some choppy parts in Fear and Q4 but the ATI card took care of that. In my opinion this card is one of the best there for a good price. I paid 170.99 for it, and I usually don't spend that much on a VC, but this one was WELLL worth it. If you have have this card please comment back and let me know what your experience is with it.

Ok... You want a good and CHEAP card? Get yourself an ATI X800 AGP card, it plays my favorite games(Oblivion and Half-life 2) flawlessly with anti-aliasing at x6! Also ATi stands behind their products, unlike NVidia whom wouldn't return my GTX 7800.

Also make sure the rest of your wares are up to date, I have an Intel pentium 4 DX running at 4.3 GHz(OH MY ******* GOD!!!) and it loads Photoshop CS2 in 3 seconds easily. I also trust AGP more then PCI-E because PCI-E is TOO knew and contains bugs.

So ATI X800-X850 are the best for anything.

Since then, I bought a new machine to do what I want.

I upgraded the video card to a Geforce 7100 GS and it has 700mhz of DDR2 ram installed on the card. Its 128mb local memory with up to 512 via TurboCache.

Works very very nice on all my apps. No choppy games or DVD Movies here.
