Today Hauppauge Computer Works UK have released a new CD image version 5.9g for their Analog TV Tuner products and even includes support for more recent analog tv tuners under Windows Vista. Even though this comes from the UK site, these drivers are generally universal. I now can finally enjoy my WinTV Go Plus! TV Tuner on Vista Home Basic. To view which products are compatible in this new driver release go here: WWW Link On this page, it also has links to download the latest drivers for Vista where applicable. Have Fun Guys!

Wonder if it'll work for my Vintage 1998 or so Hauppauge WinTV/PCI....

N/M... just looked at that page... the closest model, the WinTV/PCI FM, works, so mine probably would... However it won't do support the Media Center, so it isn't really worth getting going. Owell probably time to buy a new one. It *is* the oldest piece of computer equipment I use..

It probably works in the WinTV 2000 application.

I use to have that card, Lotherius! The drivers to get it to work for XP were not very good. The WinTV 2000 app didn't like me either because it would randomly freeze my PC or cause Blue Screens. :/ I did use that card until recently I bought a USB 2.0 MCE supported TV-Tuner. MUCH BETTER!

I have Realtek High Definition Audio and I didn't have any sound. The Realtek website had Vista drivers for it. Just to be clear my TV tuner card is: Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II (26xx).

Hi. I have a WinTV-Go+ and I tried the link given to me. I ran the program, it did some stuff, and then told me "drivers not installed, click to exit." Any ideas on that one? Vista Home Premium btw.

Did you install this driver: WWW Link ? If no, try to install it. If yes you can try:
A- Go to "Control Panel" >> "System" >> "Device Manager" and check if in "Sound, video and game controller" the Hauppauge Driver is installed (for audio and video), if not you will find at "Other Devices” something about multimedia controller, try to update driver of everything in there (you can also get this drivers for your tvcard using "Windows Update", in the control panel)

B - If you find Hauppauge Driver installed in "Sound, video and game controller" try to uninstall, using "Programs and Features" (“Control Panel”), everything you find from Hauppauge, and then, in the "Device Manager", also uninstall the Hauppauge drivers, and then restart your pc. When you reenter windows, reinstall first the drivers using Windows Update" or in "Device Manager", like I said in paragraph "A", and in second place the Hauppauge's software ( WWW Link )

Good luck.
