Everyone remembers how fun Hoyle PC Games were.. I love them you loved them. Everybody loved them. They were the first series of games that changed the way we play casual board and puzzle type games on the computer. Every game they made was good up to the 2005 versions of the games. At that time, the 2005 version of Hoyle Board Games brought up a bug that plagued the 2004 version. Sierra managed to fix the 2004 version problem with Maximum Pool but when the game was moved to board games for 2005...

I just wanted to let everyone know that if you ever wanted to try Galactic Civilizations but always thought it was too expensive for you or you did not have a credit card to purchase online, you can now find this game in the value software section at Target and Circuit City. The game is packaged in a Jewel Case only container. Retail price $9.99 Now go out there and buy it! I first spotted this at Target in Citrus Heights, CA but then found that Circuit City had 2 copies of the game in its bar...

This evening , I have come across a potentially annoying bug in AOL where, if you use certain applications that still use 256 Color , such as Atari 80 Classics in 1 , or other titles with this color scheme , and have quick start enabled on AOL 9.0SE , The color palette of these games appear washed out.

I turned off the quickstart option , and this did the trick . Turned it back on , and the problem re-appeared. Its something about the way AOL sits in the background using quickstart that make...
